Due to the reliability, Toyota Vios have been wisely used as Taxi in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.

BMW World 2014: BMW Pininfarina Gran Lusso Coupe

BMW World 2014 was held on 1st - 3rd August, at Marina Bay Sands Expo and Convention Centre, Singapore. As the title, BMW Pininfarina Gran Lusso Coupe is one of the fantastic cars appeared in this show.

BMW and Pininfarina are 2 of the most tradition-swathed names in the motoring world. Each is a byword for cutting-edge technology, style, dynamics and aesthetics. With the BMW Pininfarina Gran Lusso Coupe, they are unveiling the outcome of their first collaboration at the Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este 2013.

The BMW Pininfarina Gran Lusso Coupe is a one-off and represents the exclusive interpretation of a luxurious BMW Coupe as seen through the eyes of Pininfarina. Working in close consultation, the two design teams have created a new automotive persona brimming with character and ready to join the high-end luxury class – typically BMW while sporting the distinctive signature of Pininfarina.

The success of the Gran Lusso is attested by the design awards received since its debut: the GOOD DESIGN Award 2013 from the Chicago Athenaeum Museum of Architecture and Design and a Special Mention in the Transportation and Public Space Class within the framework of the German Design Awards 2014, as well as a second place at the 2013 edition of the Autonis Design Awards.

The New Perodua Myvi XT

Perodua Myvi is the best selling car in Malaysia for eight years in a row, peaking at around 99,000 units last year. Perodua have come out with a new variant of Myvi recently, it called Myvi XT.

Myvi XT used to replace the current base model, what new for Myvi XT are new chrome front grille and 14-inch 5-spoke alloy rims, besides, there are 2 new colour available, Lime Green and Dazzling Red.

Inside, there are new seat fabric and new audio system (USB & Bluetooth) with painted center cluster. The technical spec still the same, it using K3-VE 1.3 litre engine making 90 hp at 6,000 rpm and 117 Nm at 4,400 rpm. Two transmission options remain the same, five-speed manual and four-speed automatic. No changes to the safety equipment also, there are 2 airbags without ABS.

Prices for the Perodua Myvi XT are RM41,936 for the MT with solid paint, RM42,436 for metallic paint. And RM44,936 AT with solid paint, RM45,436 for metallic paint. The price exactly same as the previous base models they have replaced.
